Nach fast über einem Jahr, darf sich Sony, wie GI berichtet, nun auf 9 Millionen verkaufte PlayStation Move Controller freuen.

Microsoft mag zwar mit 10 Millionen verkauften Kinekts darüber stehen, doch wurden 8 Millionen davon im letztjährigen Weihnachtsgeschäft verkauft und der Rest dann danach. Seither dümpeln die Verkäufe, während sich die PlayStation Move Controller stetig gut verkaufen ließen. Selbst Ubisofts Merketingmensch Tony Key sieht darin kein gutes Zeichen:

In einem Interview verriet Naughty Dogs Keith Guerette, dass man den Einsatz von PlayStation Move in Uncharted 3 in Betacht zog, allerdings kam man zu dem Schluss, dass das wohl doch nicht so recht ins Spiel passen würde:

Infamous 2: Festival of Blood date, price

Standalone Infamous 2 expansion Festival of Blood arrives 26th October in the UK, just in time for Halloween. US gamers get the bloodsucking side-story on the 25th. It'll be priced at around $15 (£9.50).

The DLC also adds Move support to the main Infamous 2 story.

Sony kündigte an, dass Infamous 2: Festival of Blood am 26. Oktober bei uns (bzw. am 25. Oktober in den USA) erscheinen wird. In der Singleplayererweiterung wurde Cole von den in New Marais herumspazierenden Untoten infiziert und hat genau nur eine Nacht Zeit, um ein Gegenmittel zu finden. Darüber hinaus erhält das Spiel noch PlayStation Move-Support nachgeliefert.

Es hat nun doch etwas länger gedauert, bis LittleBigPlanet 2 um seine Move-Funktion erweitert wird. Das am 14. September erscheinende Move-Pack enthält aber nicht nur eine Handvoll neuer Singleplayer-Levels und Mini-Spielchen, sondern auch einen Editor, mit dem man eigene Move-Levels erstellen kann. Child of Eden – Erstes Filmchen, der PS3 Verison

So, jetzt gibt’s endlich mal ein halbwegs vernünftiges Video der PS3-Version von Child of Eden, gespielt mit PlayStation Move. Der Release hat sich ein wenig hingezogen – während die XBox Version schon im Juli erschien, darf man in den USA erst ab dem 27. September und in Europa am 30. des Monats loszocken. Dafür dann aber mit Stereoskop-3D und…ja… Move (anstatt kinekt… logischerweise).

Es ist eine halbe Ewigkeit her, dass wir das letzte Mal von Sony Santa Monicas Sorcery hörten. Das Move-exklusive Action-Adventure um einen Zauberlehrling ist seit beinahe einem Jahr in der Versenkung verschwunden. Nun hat Sony aber versichert, dass der Titel keinesfalls eingestellt sei.

LittleBigPlanet 2 Move DLC kommt Ende des Sommers

Leider war bei LittleBigPlanet 2 von Anfang an die Move-Unterstützung nicht dabei. Mit dem kommenden Move DLC soll aber die Lücke so gut wie möglich ausgefüllt werden. Neben Move Support, wird das Spiel zusätzlich um einige Level erweitert, Aber auch Spieler dürfen ihre eigenen Levels nun mit Move Support ausrüsten. Dazu gibt es dann auch die passenden “Manipulatoren”…

…einen finalen Releasetermin gibt es zar noch nicht, aber so grob bis Ende des Sommer wird es wohl dauern.
