  Über den Blogbeitrag PSN-Login funktioniert wieder und Facebook-Login ist neu dazu gekommen

  Einige von euch haben es ja mitbekommen: Sony hat das PSN-Login für externe Seiten abgeschaltet. Deshalb kann euch keine Fanseite mehr darüber einloggen und Zugriff auf eure Trophäen bekommen.

  Da es auf diverse Mails, Facebook-, Twitter- und Forenposts keinerlei Reaktion von Sony gab, habe ich nun zwei Workarounds implementiert. Der Ablauf zum Synchronisieren eurer Trophäen funktioniert grundsätzlich wie vorher.

  Anstatt die Daten aber bei Sony einzugeben, müsst ihr dies nun bei PS3Heroes tun. Dafür habe ich extra ein SSL-Zertifikat gekauft und installiert, so dass niemand diese Daten abgreifen kann.

  Diese Daten werden nicht gespeichert, sondern werden nur benutzt, um euch im Hintergrund auf den Sony-Server einzuloggen und die Session-ID zu bekommen. Falls ihr dem nicht traut, könnt ihr auch einen manuellen Weg gehen und die Session-ID selbst nach einem PSN-Login herausfischen und bei PS3Heroes eingeben. Ihr werdet beim Aktualisieren eurer Trophäen nach Wunsch durch diese beiden Wege geführt.

  Als Sony das PSN-Login abgeschaltet hat, war ich gerade dabei, den Login via Facebook zu implementieren. Dieser funktioniert nun ebenfalls. Beim ersten Mal müsst ihr euch hier ebenfalls am PSN einloggen, damit auch die richtige PSN-ID zugeordnet wird.

  Als dritte kleine Änderung könnt ihr im PS3Heroes-Profil nun auch einen Google+ Account hinterlegen. Viel Spaß :)

  dirk_olbertz I'm invited to a sony event on July 21st (it's a Move-Event in Cologne, Germany) and I hope to get some answers there. If you have any contacts to Sony, I would be glad if you contact them. I posted to the official german Playstation forum and got a couple of users to support me there, but I got none response from Sony. I am also in contact with some other PS3 fanpages, but they also got no responses. I tend to believe that Sony just doesn't care...vor 10 Monate

  

  Paranoimia I'm guessing they disabled this as part of the ongoing security measures after the hack. It's sad, but if it's necessary, so be it. Of course, if they'd implement a proper API, it wouldn't be an issue. Maybe when PS Vita arrives, since it's portable and they're claiming full PSN integration, they'll get something worthwhile up and running. They really need to get their heads together and get something working. The EU site is always up-to-date with Trophy info, but has no public profile pages; the US site has public pages, but the Trophy data is never up-to-date. A bit of a farce, really.vor 10 Monate

  AceSoloMcCloud I'm from other ps3 fanpages, including my own in development, this is such a pain Sony have done this, given that it's happened after their systems are online after their downtime, I think it's more down to the load we're putting on their servers by using their system for logins than any security issue. As you say, it's now less secure for PS3 gamers as they now have to trust the sites they're puttng their login details into, unless they do the manual method to get the sessionid. By the way, you might want to make it clear in your blog post that the login credential is used immediately and then discarded, it's not stored on your site. Otherwise that opens up a whole other can of worms.vor 10 Monate

  Hey fellow Heroes, I was just attempting to update my trophies and after I entered my PSN user/pass I get prompted by the PSN as "Access Denied.....We are sorry but you do not have permission to view this page". I made sure to retry and slowly type my user/password and its the correct info. Anyone else having this issue? http://imgur.com/C2i1q A link to the screenshot of error message Edit: There is a sign out link at the top of the page and I clicked it and then got prompted that "Sign-out Successful!". So that tells me I was logged in, just that part of the PSN site was blocking me out.

  dirk_olbertz Yeah, SONY changed the way how this login works. I'm not sure they are completely done with it, as I still couldn't log in to playstation.com with this new system. I hope they did not shut down the whole thing for 3rd party websites :(vor 10 Monate

  

  dirk_olbertz And I just got a confirmation from the programmer of another PS3 site, that the 3rd party PSN login is now only working with whitelisted URLs :( And SONY isn't really known for their communication skills. So, if anyone knows who to contact to get *.ps3heroes.com whitelisted, please let me know!vor 10 Monate

  

  Iamusbeejus I have submitted an e-mail inquiry with Sony about this matter and the comments that dirk_olbertz has raised. The Knowledge Center support form reports "Your question has been submitted and will be responded to within the next 6 - 18 Hours".   Iamusbeejus Still no response, other than the automated one I recieved that said it would be within the next 24 hours that I can anticipate a response to my question. But in the meanwhile, PS3Heroes has updated my trophies since I last synced --- even though I still get the Access Denied page...odd?vor 10 Monate

  

  dirk_olbertz Not odd :) PS3Heroes has two different ways of getting your trophies. The first one does not need any authentication and runs automatically every couple of hours. It accesses your public PSN profile. But this does not contain all the games. Newer games like inFAMOUS 2 or Alice: Madness Returns need a few weeks to months to appear on that website. The second one contains all games and also the names and descriptions of the hidden trophies. But this information is only available in the secured profile., which PS3Heroes now can no longer access, as the PSN login is no longer working :(vor 10 Monate

  

  Iamusbeejus I just got a response from Sony. It seems as though they are not blocking any sites from access trophy information. Read below quote from e-mail response: Response Via Email (Deanna H.) 07/03/2011 05:24 PM Hello *******, I do apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced with accessing your trophies through a website called PS3Heroes (www.ps3heroes.com). I do understand the frustration that you feel with this situation. After further research, I found that Sony Computer Entertainment America, LLC (SCEA) do not have a list of websites that are allowed or not allowed to have access to trophy information. vor 10 Monate

  

  dirk_olbertz That's a strange answer. It is true, that PS3Heroes can still access the trophies on the public profiles on us.playstation.com, for instance this is my profile there: http://us.playstation.com/publictrophy/index.htm?onlinename=dirk_olbertz But it does not contain games that were published the last couple of months, like for instance inFAMOUS 2. This profiles are pretty much useless. PS3Heroes uses them for the automatic trophy updates, but as I said: it does not cover the newer games, which makes them pretty annoying for people who buy games on release dates.vor 10 Monate

  MissSouthampton If you click sign in on that page though it's brings up a maintenance page and as we all know Japan is getting it's PSN restored today so maybe that is the cause?   dirk_olbertz I'm not too confident, as the same login works for the playstation blog and playstation.com itself. They basically implemented a whitelist for sites where they return after login :( If you know how, you can still grab the sessionId from a playstation.com PSN-login and use it to update your PS3Heroes-Trophies. But that is not userfriendly at all...vor 10 Monate

  MissSouthampton I did this on the Gas Man Case in Arson Desk (it is required to complete the sequence otherwise your bad guy escapes). You would think you have to shoot their legs or aim just past their ear to make them stop but infact you need to be in pursuit of someone with your gun welded. During "the chase" of the bad guy aim your gun on him until the white circle completely fills. When it is filled your character i.e. Cole will automatically shoot his gun in the air and fire a warning shot, ending the chase.   Ich habe das am letzten Wochenende mal kurz probiert, aber nachdem er für 10 Minuten nach passenden Mitspielern gesucht hat, habe ich es wieder aufgegeben. Geht euch das auch so? Oder verabredet ihr euch mit Freunden? Ich würde hier gerne noch die eine oder andere Trophäe verdienen, aber das scheint ein schwieriges Unterfangen zu werden :(

  MissSouthampton What time were you playing? I havent had any problems but maybe we could create an event and get enough people for a match? As I really got into the multiplayer and then LBP2 came along, as well as Dead Space and KZ3 beta this might be a bit dead now. About 8pm GMT I didn't have any problems getting into a game altho certain modes are dead. Like the game of 3 teams of 2, that is always dead. BTW I used google translate lolvor 1 Jahr

  

  dirk_olbertz It was last weekend saturday or sunday around 8PM GMT, I guess. So it was well before KZ3 beta and LBP 2 was already two weeks out. After that I only played the single player campaign. Let me see what multiplayer is all about to get started with creating our own. Right now I only played the introduction, so I have no clue what the gameplay in multiplayer is really about :)vor 1 Jahr
