    Had it less than 2 years and got YLOD. Sony Customer Care tried to charge me £130 for repair which is appalling and displays a clear lack of care. Finally got it replaced by the retailer. If there is no problem with reliability on PS3 I don't see the problem with sony repairing machines for free up to 3 years old, as there would be so few to repair. Unfortunately we all know this is not the case.

    I'm very happy with this model and I've put lots of hours into it. I bought mine in Feb 2008 when I bought my 40inch Sony LCD HDTV. I upgraded the hard drive to 160gigs and haven't had any issues with it.

    Of course I swapped out the HDD because I needs space!
